As part of our ongoing work with Global Innovation Institute (GInI), we conduct assessments — of both your organization and its innovation assets.
These allow your organization to understand its current level of maturity, capability, and effectiveness with respect to its corporate innovation program and these different assets — each as measured against the world-class standards set by GInI, which in each case are derived from exhaustive and ongoing benchmarks of the world's most capable and mature innovation programs and assets globally.
In particular, there are five (5) specific types of assessment that we offer from GInI's Business Accreditation Program, namely:
Per the requirements of Global Innovation Institute, these assessments are to each be carried out under the direct guidance and supervision of a GInI Authorized Innovation Provider® (AInP®) — like Legacy Innovation Group — using GInI Authorized Innovation Assessors® (AInAs®).

We undertake a comprehensive assessment of your organization, allowing us to establish its level of innovation maturity and capability (specifically its ability to deliver consistently impactful new innovation over time and across the organization). This process has three primary steps: preliminary document review (of the organization's innovation strategy, program, and results), an on-site assessment involving numerous interviews with your organizational and innovation program leaders, and a follow-on report that gets submitted to Global Innovation Institute (GInI) for review and evaluation, determining whether or not your organization qualifies for formal accreditation as a Certified Innovative Organization, or CInOrg®, and if so, at which level.
We undertake a comprehensive on-site assessment of your organization's Innovation Lab, ascertaining the extent to which it has the necessary elements and practices in place to effectively support your organization and its innovation strategy. This is an all-or-nothing assessment in which we are looking for the lab to deliver very specific resources and capabilities for the organization's use. Innovation Labs that pass this assessment qualify for formal accreditation by Global Innovation Institute (GInI) as an Accredited Innovation Lab, or AInL®.
We undertake a comprehensive assessment of the Business Incubator your organization operates. This is a scored on-site assessment in which we are evaluating the extent to which your Incubator has the necessary resources and elements in place to effectively support the new business ventures it is attempting to support. Business Incubators that pass this assessment qualify for formal accreditation by Global Innovation Institute (GInI) as an Accredited Business Incubator, or ABI®.
We undertake a comprehensive assessment of the Accelerator Program your organization operates. This is a scored on-site assessment in which we are evaluating the extent to which your Accelerator has the necessary resources and elements in place to effectively support each new cohort of startup founders it is seeking to sponsor. Accelerator Programs that pass this assessment qualify for formal accreditation by Global Innovation Institute (GInI) as an Accredited Accelerator Program, or AAP®.
We assist your organization in completing the Innovation Endorsement Application needed to secure official endorsement of your innovation by Global Innovation Institute (GInI). Our affirmation of this application delivers the assurance that your new innovation fully satisfies GInI's criteria for novelty, ownership, development, implementation, and impact. Innovations that satisfy these criteria qualify for formal accreditation by Global Innovation Institute (GInI) as an Innovation Endorsement, or InE® – of which there are three (3) tiers.
CEOs come and CEOs go. Some are excellent. They generally ‘get it’. Others not so much. They really ‘don't get it’. What makes the difference between these?
