FOUR EASY STEPS BEGIN THE DESIGN

Engaging us for Design work is a straightforward process.   There are four simple steps.

STEP 2  —  NEEDS EXPLORATION

We will arrange a discussion with you so that we can explore your specific needs and challenges in full detail.   We will then discuss the ways in which Legacy Innovation Group can address those needs and challenges, including the intended outcomes of our work.   Three primary points of concern that we typically cover are:

• Client Profile  —  Everything you can share with us (that is relevant) about your organization, its markets, its brands, its competitors, its strengths & weaknesses, its history, and so on.


• Project Profile  —  Specific details of the engagement, including the challenges that have to be addressed, and the specific outcomes that need to happen.


• Business + Brand + Offering Profile  —  If the engagement involves the creation and development of a new business, brand, and/or product or service, we capture the goals of what you wish to achieve here.   For products and services, this includes their general nature, their intended users, their use cases, their functional and regulatory requirements, their proposed underlying technologies, their desired design and user experience attributes, their proposed sales and marketing channels, their proposed sourcing & production plans, any affiliated brand considerations, any upfront work you may have already completed, the work that is yet to be completed by us, your desired timeline, your allocated development budget, and so on.

All information discussed is held in full confidence.   If desired, we can execute our standard Non–Disclosure Agreement with you, or your organization's equivalent NDA.

STEP 3  —  PROJECT PROPOSAL

Following our Needs Exploration, we will prepare for you a formal Proposal.   This Proposal will reflect the scope of the engagement (which services are to be provided by Legacy Innovation Group and its partner network), the work that's to be undertaken, how that work will be managed and delivered, the engagement's intended outcomes, its anticipated timeline (by phases if appropriate), its associated costs (by phases if appropriate), and any other pertinent details.

Since we undertake product & service innovation projects using our Emergent NPD Process, the proposal will be structured in corresponding phases (up to 8 altogether), and will thereby itemize the services to be rendered at each phase, together with each phase's estimated timing and cost.   In this way, we're able to work with clients in a measured fashion, so that the project meets or exceeds their expectations at each phase prior to proceeding on to the next phase.

Once you've had an opportunity to review the Proposal, we'll arrange for a follow–on discussion to review the Proposal together and answer any questions you might have.   As required, we can refine the Proposal thereafter and repeat this process until both parties are in full agreement.

STEP 4  —  ACCEPTANCE

Once our Proposal meets your satisfaction, you would then indicate your acceptance of the Proposal by signing and returning its Agreement Page.   From there we will arrange the necessary logistics to begin our work together.
